New competition in Lithuania – „Mis Pirouette“ and „Mis Grand pas de Chat“!

We invite you to register for the Miss Pirouette and Miss Grand pas de Chat contests!

 The competition will take place during the LTBA ballet and modern dance competition 2024 on June 16.

 The exact time of the competition will be announced later.

 Information about "Miss Pirouette" and "Miss Grand pas de Chat" contests:

 Age:

 Little Miss: born in 2012 and younger.

 Miss: born in 2011 and older.

 Clothing:

 Classic: ballet costume and skirt (can be a rehearsal tutu).

 Shoes:

 Little Miss: soft ballet shoes.

 Miss: "Miss Pirouette" - pointe shoes, "Miss Grand pas de Chat" - soft ballet shoes.

 Awards:

 2024 "Miss Pirouette" or "Miss Grand pas de Chat" title, cup and prize from our sponsors.

 Course and rules of "Miss Pirouette":

 – The spin is performed in the middle of the stage, from position 4, the side is not important;

 – 2 attempts (not one after the other);

 – Evaluated: 1. Number of turns; 2. The beauty of the spin, academicity;

 – The participant who has turned the most times wins. If the number of spins among the participants is the same, then the one with a higher evaluation of "the beauty of the spin, academicity" wins.

 The course and rules of "Miss Grand pas de Chat":

 – From the diagonal side that is comfortable for you (comfortable leg);

 – Classical performance: chassis, step, flight;

 – Evaluated: jump height, “split” amplitude, as well as academics, lightness, body posture, beauty;

 – The participant with the highest rating wins.

 Registration:

 Registration for the competition will take place from February 19th to  May 19th.

 Registration for the contest occurs when you purchase a contest ticket. Additional registration is not required.
